Are you restoring a building to its Original Features?

Would you like your home to be on TV? If so we would love to hear from you...

Nick KnowlesBBC Bristol are making a third series of 'Original Features' for the UKTV channel 'Home'. The series is presented by BBC DIY SOS', Nick Knowles and follows people who are restoring or reinstating period features in their homes - it might be a Tudor cottage, Georgian mansion, 1960s semi or a Victorian terrace. The project could be just one room, a feature within a room or the entire house. Nick and his team investigate the social history of the home and hope to give some inspiration for the renovation. With expert advice on design and historians on hand, the homeowner will learn how to restore their property in keeping with the period and learn more about the history of their home - Who lived there before? What was the house formerly used for? What is lurking under the floorboards or behind the plasterboard?

Although we cannot offer financial assistance, we hope to help the homeowner find out more about their house and also offer some design inspiration.

We start filming soon and would like to hear from anyone with a project recently underway or about to begin - even if it's something small. The project would ideally be finishing or finished by April 2012 as that is when our filming has to end.
