Air vent cover

Postby Sammi » Mon Jul 16, 2007 1:41 pm

Hi

I'm looking for an air vent cover (to sit in a boarded up chimney breast) in a more suitable material for a period property than plastic or metal. The one I am replacing seems to be made of plaster and could be painted the same shade as the wall. However, there now only seems to be plastic or metal ones available. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Many thanks!

How about one of these airbricks?

We bought three "Cast Iron Ornamental Air Brick Victorian Pattern" to replace the plastic ones our builder wanted to put in after he'd fixed some dry rot!
