Replacing a Victorian fireplace in a 21st century style!

Postby tim smedley » Mon Jun 11, 2007 10:19 pm

Looking to replace the fireplace that was ripped out of our 1895 home.
Q. Has anyone managed to source a fireplace that looks right AND has a back boiler so that it can be connected to the central heating system?
It will not need to be the primary heat source, but I am looking to grab what heat I can on a winters day, pass it around the house and save on the gas bill!
