Two types of floor were used. The lower numbers have a terrazzo floor of cream, brown-ish read and black marble chips in stylised flower designs. Wood floors were used in the other houses.

Whereas a few of the odd-numbered houses have an original screen made from a double arch above the hall newel post with a lattice of spiral wood, there is only incomplete and circumstantial evidence that some of the even-numbered houses had a similar screen. One or two have marks in the wall plaster, another has the feet of the arch, and a piece of lattice was found in a garden.
